You know, I attended a Jazz Worship service at one of the churches here in downtown Montreal, and it was one of the most moving experiences of my life. The blues and jazz are so well-suited to worship – blues when one is sad, jazz when one is happy – that I was surprised when this was the first service of its kind that I had heard of. I hope that there are more experiences of this kind.
