living
I live in Paris, France…in one sense it’s like living in a work of art…the combined beauty of the architecture, the smell of sidewalk cafés and the weight of history at every turn can surprise me with moments of transcendence.
I live in the 11ème arrondissement, on one of the grand boulevards – Richard Lenoir, just north of where the infamous Bastille once stood.
I live with an amazing woman, Sanan. This year we celebrated 36 years together.
Together (along with 4 daughters) we’ve lived in some amazing places: Seattle, WA; Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Guadeloupe, French West Indies; and Montréal, Québec.
Here’s a beautiful thing that happens occasionally outside our window at the market.
David…..the video of the organ grinder and friend was priceless……I don’t understand why so many walked by ignoring this cultural feast,….life is to short to not stop and smell the roses…..er….hear the music……glad I came across your blog……Phil Anderson
Thanks for dropping by Phil…..really long time, no see! Totally agree that life is too short to not stop and listen to an organ grinder.
