Guerrilla Labyrinth
I have been inspired by Johnny Bakers blog post on mowing a labyrinth. So I bought a hand push mower yesterday on Craig’s list, fixed it up a bit and started mowing my first labyrinth this morning. It was a free style thing that winds its way among trees near the abandoned Post Office near the LaChine canal. I can’t wait to think through how to develop one of the classic models.
Its something I’ve wanted to do for a few years now, but instead of making a group event out of it, I’m just doing it as my own spiritual exercise. When I get the hang of it, I can invite others in on it. As for now it will just stay guerrilla.
UPDATE: I went on to do more guerrilla labyrinths of my own and created a website…
